  • Overview

    This activity reviews how mental health professionals can continue treatment with long-acting injectable antipsychotic medications for patients with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder when they cannot physically encounter one another. Dr. Leslie Citrome and Dr. Ralph Aquila discuss the importance of continuity of care during the COVID-19 pandemic, best practices for utilizing available telehealth options, and strategies to maintain a strong therapeutic alliance during times of physical distancing.
