Dr. Del Rosario and his department are the recipients of this year’s Gold Medallion Award from the Foundation. He discusses providing a positive experience for the patient and the importance of teaching children how to manage their health while living with a chronic condition, regaining quality of life and the most recent treatments for managing IBD, including nutritional therapy.
